Masters and Teens Games Prep
We’re incredibly proud of our Masters and Teen Misfit communities. Masters athletes represent a fraction of what everyone hopes their future self will be capable of, while Teens represent the incredible progress the sport will undoubtedly see in the not-so-distant future.
This 7-week prep program is rugged. To complete it as written, we’re expecting you to dedicate 2 training sessions per day to complete 4-6 training pieces in preparation for what we believe will show up in Madison. The workouts and weekly volume are based both on standards that have been set in competition (Open, AGOQ, Sanctionals, and the Games) and higher standards we believe could be tested on the biggest stage. Some workouts look like potential Games events while others look an awfully lot like business as usual.
Inside your program you’ll find a thorough introduction to the program, detailed descriptions of the types of training pieces you’ll be doing, and the 7-week program with a built-in taper/de-load. You can expect five and a half full training weeks with about a week and a half of de-load leading right up to the Games. You’ll run, swim, row, lift, move odd objects, perform strict muscle ups, triple unders, and more. Every year you push the envelope a little further, and we don’t plan to leave any stone unturned.
