Butterfly Pull Up Progression
Making the transition from a standard kipping pull-up to the butterfly pull up can be a bumpy road for a lot of athletes. A technically sound butterfly can cut time under tension on the pull-up bar in half, and we all know adding unnecessary extra time under load is something no one wants in our sport. We’ve had our eyes on thousands of athletes over the past eight years and decided to break down the most common faults we see and use them to develop a progression to help everyone in our affiliates and training camps learn the transition easier. Always remember to take your time mastering each step before moving on to the next one and that it should be a slow patient road building to from small sets to big unbroken sets. Good luck.
